Sunday Service: “The Grayness of Life,” Josh Goulet preaching – Sunday, July 9 at 10:30 am
There is a drive in all of us to make the world black and white. We feel that we need to know right away if something is good or bad, right or wrong. But is it really the case that everything can be labeled like that? And how can we affirm the grayer areas of life? It will be great to be together these Sunday months! We hope to see you in church!
Can you Contribute to Coffee Hour this Summer?
In our custom of being a little more casual during July and August, coffee hour is pot luck. If you bring something, please remember to take the leftovers home, and to help with clean up if you can. There is no staff on duty during coffee hour, and only limited staff during the week. Please remember: no nuts or nut products.
Monthly Newsletter: July-August Communicator
The July-August issue of our monthly newsletter, The Communicator, is available on line here. Check it out for the latest news and reflections on church and community life! Please note that the deadline for the joint September issue is August 15 by 9 am and submissions are welcome any time before then. It will be an important issue, as we begin a new church year!
Save the Date! Craft Fair – October 28
Our Craft Fair this year will be held on October 28. We are looking for crafters. If you are a crafter, or know of other crafters who might like to take part, please contact Maggie Reeve, Patty Gutta or Anne Doughty. Watch for more information.

Help Out this Summer in the Community Garden
Our plot in the community garden at St. John the Baptist Church helps feed hungry folks with fresh produce. And it's good for the soul to work in the soil! If you'd like to help, please Abbe Wertz (a...@yahoo.com).
